History After Hours
Every first Thursday of each month during the academic year 5:00pm - 7:00pm. Free and all ages.
History After Hours is a podcast based in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and created by history teachers Kevin Pumphrey (AP U.S. History) and Ron Franklin (AP European, World, & Art History). Within the last four seasons, Jeremy Nixon (AP U.S. & Comparative Government/Politics & AP Seminar) has regularly joined the conversation as well. Emily Diedrich (Advanced Civics and Advanced World History) is also a regular contributor. The podcast is recorded with a live student audience. Students are encouraged to participate with their questions on a variety of subjects (not just history.) History After Hours is not affiliated with any school, public or private.
